    About Blake

Blake Slusser, owner and trainer, has been a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator since December 2012.  She began her journey into childbirth education in 2009 when she was expecting her first son, Jack.  In 2010, she managed the prenatal education program for three maternity hospitals in Central Virginia.  In 2013, her family expanded to include a second son, Henry, and her work responsibilities expanded to include oversight of prenatal education over six maternity hospitals throughout Virginia.  In 2016, Blake became a Fellow in the American College of Childbirth Educators and made the decision to focus her work more on supporting families directly through her own childbirth education program and expand her reach to help other birth advocates on their journey to support growing families! Blake has added birth doula services (2018) and yoga classes (2020) to the list of ways she supports families. Learn from an educator who is dedicated to your success and is actively teaching expectant families.
